Safety on VavaMeet

VavaMeet works because conversations here happen between real adults who showed up by choice. This page explains the guardrails we build in — and the part only you can play. We won’t pretend any online space is completely safe; we’d rather be honest about how this one stays comfortable.

Adults Only

VavaMeet is strictly for people aged 18 and older. Every visitor passes an age confirmation before entering, and accounts may be asked to verify their age. Any account found to involve a minor is removed and, where appropriate, reported to the relevant authorities. If you ever suspect someone is under 18, report it immediately — this is the one rule with zero tolerance.

Respectful Behavior Is the House Rule

The tone here is warm and a little flirty, and it stays that way because respect comes first. Say hello like a person. Take a “no” the first time. Never record or screenshot someone without their consent, never pressure anyone into anything, and treat the face on your screen the way you’d treat someone sitting across a café table — because that’s exactly who they are.

You Can Always Leave

Every conversation on VavaMeet is one tap away from ending. No explanation owed, no penalty, no awkwardness. If a chat feels off, boring, pushy, or simply done — leave. Leaving early isn’t rude here; it’s how the space stays relaxed. The people worth talking to are the ones who respect a goodbye.

Block and Report

If someone crosses a line — harassment, pressure, scams, recording you without consent, anything involving minors — use the block and report tools. Blocking is immediate: the other person can’t contact you again. Reports are reviewed, and confirmed violations lead to suspension or removal. You don’t need to build a case; if it felt wrong, that’s reason enough to flag it.

Camera Boundaries

You decide when your camera is on and what it shows. You’re never obligated to appear on video, to keep it on, or to show anything beyond what you’re comfortable sharing. Anyone who pushes past a boundary you’ve stated has told you everything you need to know — end the conversation and report it.

Protect Your Personal Information

  • Keep your phone number, home address, workplace, and financial details out of conversations.
  • Never send money, gift cards, or “emergency” help to someone you met online, however sweet the story.
  • Glance at what’s behind you on camera — mail, documents, house numbers, and work badges say more than you think.
  • Use a unique password for your account and don’t share your sign-in details with anyone.

Moving Off-Platform

Be cautious when someone quickly suggests moving to another app, website, or messaging service — especially if links or payments are involved. Rushing you off-platform is a classic red flag, because once you leave, our reporting and blocking tools can no longer protect the conversation. There’s no hurry; anyone genuine will still be there tomorrow, right here.
